Onboarding subsidiary companies

Parent companies have the ability to sign up and onboard subsidiary companies onto the BUCS platform.

This article will show you how to:

⚠️IMPORTANT: There are fees associated with signing up new subsidiary companies. Contact your CS account manager for more details.

⚠️In order to to sign up subsidiary companies, users need the Account Administrator role. Click here to learn how to manage user roles.

Set up new Subsidiary Company

  1. Navigate to BUCS Customer Portal > Account Management > Company Profile.
  2. Click Add Child Company.
  3. Fill in required company information details for the child company. Click Save.
  4. You will now see the subsidiary company listed under the Child Companies section of your Company Profile.

Edit Subsidiary Company Details

  1. Navigate to BUCS Customer Portal > Account Management > Company Profile.
  2. Within the Child Companies section, click the Edit icon for the company you want to edit.
  3. Edit/Add details on the Child Company Profile page.

Onboard Subsidiary Companies

  1. After you have created a new subsidiary company from your Company Profile page, the new company will appear in your Company access dropdown menu and you will be granted the Account Administrator role on the subsidiary company.
  2. Click on the new subsidiary company you just created. You have access to create new users, create new connections and complete other onboarding activities for the company. Reference the BUCS Set Up Guide for onboarding steps.
  3. Set up any new users who will help onboard this new subsidiary company. Reference our user management guide to help add users.
