Plaid Data Connection Setup
Connecting to your financial institution via Plaid should only take a few minutes.
Plaid makes it easy to connect to hundreds of financial institutions so you can securely integrate transaction data from your banking account into the BUCS platform.
There may be fees associated with setting up a new data connection. Please contact your account team to confirm pricing.
Pre-Implementation
To connect you will need administrator access and credentials in your banking institution.
Implementation
1. Connect to Plaid
Go to BUCS Customer Portal > Connection Management > Connection Hub. Locate or search for the Plaid connector and click Connect.
2. Name your Connection
Enter a Name for your connection on the first page of the connection wizard, select your Country and click Connect. The connection name should be descriptive and specific to the connection you want to establish.
3. Select your financial institution
Select the financial institution to want to connect.
4. Log In to your financial institution
Click continue to login. Enter your credentials on the next screen and click Login.
You will need to have administrator access in order to establish the connection.
5. Select your account and provide BUCS access
Select the account(s) you want to connect. Click Continue.
6. Connection Established
If the connection was established successfully you will see a Connection Established message and data from your financial institution will continuously sync to BUCS. If the connection was not successful, you will be asked to try again.
NOTE: If you don't see your data appear in the BUCS platform in 24 hours, please contact your account team.
